I bought these as a replacement for my sea walker slip ons that are regrettably dropped from the line. The sea walkers were my summer shoe exposed to weather and rough lava rock surfaces. Still look OK and comfortable as ever. The only reason to replace them is that my wife ran over the shoe and tore the leather from the elastic strap on one side, luckily sparing my foot.
I can't see these new fusions being as durable sole or upper wise.

job where I'm on feet for 8-12 hrs/day and did I mention asphalt (smooth & corrugated!) I MUST have a shoe that really has the comfort and this shoe gave me a smile as soon as I put it on. Way Way better than the sea walker!!! I do have high arches, don't know if that is why this shoe was TONS more comfortable than the sea walker?

Incredibly comfortable shoe. Perfect for daily wear. I find myself wearing them like slippers around the house at times, having to remind myself to take them off because I've been wearing them outside!
