...the length around the top of the boot is about 15-1/4 inches around and the heel is about 2-1/4 inches high.
Wearing these with a skirt: I haven't worn these with a skirt yet, but if you have chicken legs like I do (my calves are 13 inches around), you might have to wear tall, fluffy socks to make the boots look like they fit up at the top.
Jeans: I've been wearing these boots with skinny jeans and they look great.

I thought I would only wear these boots with a few things that I have, but I've been trying them on with different types of clothing and it looks greats. So, in short, they are very versatile.
I was a little worried about getting these boots because I'm pretty short (5 foot even), so I thought these boots would look a little tacky on me. They come up about 3/4 inch from the bottom of my knee and they look fine.
If I could change one thing about these boots, I would change the height (make them a little taller). Because I'm short, I'm always looking for shoes with height. Overall, these boots are comfy and I can wear them all day.
