Comments about ECCO Mens BIOM Train Core:
I would say Ecco finally got the styling right with this BIOM Athletic shoe. I have tried four other BIOM shoes and, for the most part, loved the feel of them all but simply could not deal with the styling. These shoes are great. Comfortable as Eccos, good support and a firm feeling sole. Not as cushioned as many running shoes but the sole feels alot more solid and will probably last alot longer without breaking down and turning squishy. The asymmetrical heel cup is still a bit weird but doesn't stand out as it is the same color as the rest of the shoe. Probably the only other complaint I have had over the BIOM athletic shoes is the sizing. Of the 5 total I have tried, only these and the earlier BIOM Trains felt true to size. The others all had too much volume and heel slip for my low volume foot. These fit well, not super snug but very comfortable. I will say that Ecco definitely got comfort right in the BIOMs. Even though I hated the looks of the last four I tried, I kept coming back because there were more comfortable than any other running shoe I had ever worn. There is definitely a reason why my closet is steadily filling up with Eccos.
