runs large. i have worn eccos for the last 12 years and have many pairs. i have never gotten anything besides a 44 and with this shoe i had to exchange for a 43. when i first tried the 44s on i could not pull the laces any tighter as they were touching when i sinched them up. strongly suggest a size down that what you usually wear in an ecco. awesome shoe though
