I bought these boots because I'm tired of tired feet. Since I do a lot of standing and walking at my job, comfort is very important. After wearing ECCO boots all day long, I did not experience any feet, leg or back pain. They are super comfortable and light, so you can literally run in them all day long. The only time my feet got cold was when I wore thick socks and that cut my circulation off (I tend to have cold feet).

The front portion is too narrow. There is no arch support. After a couple of hours my feet begin to hurt. You can't walk around all day in these boots. Usually I am comfortable all day in all my other Ecco shoes. I am rather disappointed except for the fact that they look very nice.

ECCO's hiking boots last forever, so I am excited to try this more stylish everyday boot and it's terrific color that goes with all OTHER colors. Because of my previous ECCO experiences I was willing to pay the price, and the company seems to be improving their sense of style. I haven't owned them long enough to have checked out the cushioning when out and about.
