Simply put, I get over 2 years of use out of these boots and I wear them every day at work in very harsh environment. I am on concrete most of the time and they are the most comfortable boots I have ever used.

I figure if I get 2 years out of them, they cost me about $10 per month. I was buying cheap boots that cost me around $120 and got 6 months out of them costing about $20 per month.

The pair that I currently have on I have had for 3 years and the tread is about 30% remaining and they have started to leak a little.

As a long time customer of Ecco work boots, I was very disappointed at the track 6. I have come to count on Ecco boots for comfort, durabillity, and consistency. The many pairs of their boots I have owned helped me form this opinion. The new track 6's are neither comfortable, or consistant with the previous track series boots in fit, or finish. The soles of these new boots are unwearably stiff.
I hope Ecco remedies this as I would hate to have to find a new brand of work boots after years of great products and service.

I checked this brand of shoes out after my brother told me about them. I went to the store and tried on another type of shoe. While there I tried on this type of boot. I came back and ordered a pair I work in corrections and am on my feet all day. The very first day I put them on they were comfortable I could tell that it felt like I was using different muscles in my legs. However, it was fine they are so comfortable and I look forward to wearing them everyday. My feet are not tired when I get home and I am going to buy more Ecco products. Well worth the money.

It only took a day for this shoe to be broken in. And thankfully it did, because a major rainstorm started that night at my work... And I walk constantly at work, rain, shine, no matter, since it's all on concrete and steel surfaces all day.

I ordered it 1/2 size too big, just due to an issue with another pair, but now these fit just right...

I have purchased Ecco shoes in the past (couple of pairs which I wear everyday to work and recreational activities and they have lasted a long long time . The shoes, both pairs, are very comfortable and the leather is nice and soft and also they are not heavy on my feet. I was planning a trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone and went to the local [@]store in Ohio as they carry Ecco and found out that Ecco made a hiking boot. They did not have the Track 6 instock in my size, so I went on the web and ordered them from Ecco direct. The boots came in a couple of days and fit perfectly (I take a size 9 so ordered a 43 metric size). The boots are a little stiffer leather than the shoes and I was concerned they would not be as comfortable. I wore them in the house for about an hour and they felt fine. I am happy to report that I just returned from a trip to Alexandria Virginia and I wore them all day and they were probably the best fitting boots I have ever had (I am 65 yeras old) so I have had a few pairs in my time. I did treat the boots with leather conditioner (ordered from Ecco) for a couple of days to try and soften the leather because I thought the slightly thicker leather would not be as comfortable, but they are just excellent. I really love Ecco quality and although they are slightly more expensive, they are worth very penny. You get what you pay for and you will not be disapointed with these boots.
