These are great business casual shoes. I've purchased Ecco for over 14 years, and always had great experience with black walker with waffle sole. This is the second Walker 2.0 pair I've purchased in a year and both were unwearable after 3 weeks of use. I can only find the Walkers with waffle sole in Brown; more expensive but well worth the price if I could find in black.

This was just the style and look that I wanted. They felt very comfortable when I tried them on. I removed the insole and inserted the custom orthotics that I wear, and the shoes were not comfortable (too much pressure on the arch). This is the same problem reported by "G the Teacher." The shoe mold includes a raised arch which is just fine without custom orthotics, but is too severe with them. It's a shame because otherwise the shoes were perfect for me. I had to return them. I will recommend the shoes to a friend as long as they don't need custom orthotics.

I was attracted to the Walker 2.0 Tie shoes for their design, and because I have worn and appreciated ECCO shoes for years. These were a disappointment, for two reasons: 1) Unlike the picture, the top leather finish was not glossy, but dull like the sidewall of a tire, and 2) Latex soles are so uncomfortable I felt I was walking on tiles of slate. I returned these shoes.
