There are so many good things about this shoe. It is extremely stable, and I love the cleated sole -- would be fabulous for hiking (and part of why I ordered these). The toe box is generous, which is something I expect from Ecco, and this shoe does not disappoint in that regard.
However, the molded heel cup simply did not work for me. It was very uncomfortable, it didn't give at all when I walked and my heel was constantly sliding up and down. It feels over-engineered. So, regretfully, I will be sending this pair back.
