Comments about ECCO Womens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
I have narrow feet with very high arches, and it is difficult to find boots that fit and are comfortable. These were from the first time that I put them on. I broke them in day hiking in Maine. The ankle support over rocky terrain was great.

Comments about ECCO Womens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
This was a replacement for a pair I returned. I truly liked the previous pair and was nervous about a replacement in a somewhat different style. No worries! Ecco comes through again with an outstanding product that fits perfectly and wears comfortably.

Comments about ECCO Womens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
The Kolyma GTX was a replacement from Ecco for a similar pair of mid-height boots that were at least ten years old. Fantastic customer service from Ecco! These boots have a much more "casual" look but since I use them for ski trips and I'd prefer warm, waterproof and stable in snowy/icy conditions, they are perfect for my needs. I'm really a more "rugged" than "pretty" girl anyway.

Comments about ECCO Womens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
Purchased from a retail store and used a certified boot fitter. Very disappointed with the stability when hiking on uneven terrain. It holds the foot in place nicely when going downhill, but it allows too much torque in the ankle. The sole is too flexible so the foot rolls around too much. It wears too much like a street shoe and not enough like a boot for moderate hiking.
