Comments about ECCO Seawalker:
I have worn Sea Walkers for years. So I went and bought them without trying on. Get home and they are not polished but look like "oiled leather". Tried to polish but they are not taking a shine. I also noticed right off the insoles are thinner compared to my 5 year old insoles from my old pair. Shock absorption as good as ever, thank goodness. Also miss the slip on style of Sea Walkers, bring that back

Comments about ECCO Seawalker:
I have worn these shoes almost everyday for a year, including through the winter, with little sign of wear. I have a wide foot and will buy the wide next time. Just oil them periodically and they seem to wear well.

Comments about ECCO Seawalker:
Because the shoes are a bit smaller than usual for a size 43, I cannot wear my orthoses in them, but the arch support is good enough to do without the orthoses, at least for shorter periods of time. I suspect I will wear these shoes for a long time but in retrospect would order size 44. This is the chance you take ordering without being able to try on.

Comments about ECCO Seawalker:
I've worn my suede seawalkers every day for nearly 10 years now and I've only tied them once. I just noticed today that both soles are beginning to crack... Amazing Shoe!

Comments about ECCO Seawalker:
I am an elementary school teacher and needed a pair of dressy-enough shoes that I could wear for long periods of time, engage in activities with or sit on the floor with the kids. This is my third pair of Eccos.

Comments about ECCO Seawalker:
I'm a long time Ecco customer, having owned many models of Eccos. I had my trusted Seawalkers (in rust) were wearing out and I had stumbled upon a Walking Store store in Georgetown, Washington, DC last month while on a business trip. Having owned many Ecco's in the past and many Seawalkers, too, I knew that there was no break-in period - Ecco's are comfortable right out of the box! The Walking Store in NJ had told me that the Seawalker was going to be discontinued, so I asked the store here in DC if they had any. They had my size in the coffee, so I bought the pair, tossed out my old Seawalkers, and wore them home from the trip. Its been a few weeks now and the leather on these shoes are so stiff and painful that I don't think they are the same soft leather as the rust versions. I am ordering a new pair of rust Seawalkers directly from Ecco.com and I am probably going to discard these new coffee colored Ecco Seawalkers. Unfortunately, having had so much confidence in Ecco, I had tossed out the receipt and the box while I was still in DC. I wish I could get reimbursed for the coffee Seawalkers. They are that stuff and not like any Ecco.
