The Windsor Tie is the fourth pair of ECCOs I've owned over the past 6 years. I've retired the first two because they are 6 years old and have gotten a bit dated (although there was nothing wrong with the rubber soles or leather uppers). But I still have two "newer" ECCOs, including the Windsor Tie.
The ECCOs are the workhorse of my dress shoe collection and are my go to work shoes for foul weather and also when I want comfort. Can't say enough about the rubber soles, the cushioning, and how light on the feet these shoes are. Although the materials are not the same quality as those you would find in dress shoes made by other manufacturers, the style is different and unique. Quite simply, I wear my ECCOs for comfort, period.
I take mass transit to and from work and I have to say that after a hard day at the office the last thing I want to do from time to time is walk to the train station on stiff dress shoes (relative to ECCOs) when a rubber-soled and comfortable option is available, like this Windsor Tie.

I love these shoes so far. They do run a little large so I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear. It is hard to find a leather lined shoe these days in this price range. These shoes have felt comfortable from the moment I put them on. I haven't walked a lot in them at one time but I anticipate they will wear extremely well.
