I am going to purchase these today! I am in a quandry about them. My old pair like these I've had 10 years. The uppers look like brand new! The inner part of the sole deteriorated. I only wore them as dress or when I needed black. I loved them. I'm not sure about the top stitching. I like the plain design of my old ones. My husband says cars are doing the same thing with the top stitching. Leave it to a man for that comparison. I have a wide foot & these are perfect of that problem.

I ordered this model because of the velcro straps that could adjust to my narrow feet. Unfortunately, these shoes can only be adjusted to accommodate very wide feet. I would recommend them to those people.

This is my second pair of 3 straps. The first pair lasted almost 10 years and 2 extended trips to Europe. Recently, I tore the tendons in my right foot. After a black boot for 3 weeks, the 3 straps have been wonderful!!!!!!!! Thanks for a great shoe.

The changes in the shoe style I've worn for DECADES did not please me. I finally started wearing them recently. Usually I wear socks w/these shoes [at least the old ones] but the toe strap on these kept coming off. Today, having alot of walking to do, I just removed my socks, finally. Not really thrilled. If there's any choice, let me have the old style. [Not allowed to send this without putting something in the box areas -- and it says they can edit my review.]

Very comfortable sandal for someone who has a hard time finding shoes that fit. I have a somewhat narrow foot, little if any arch, and wear a larger size. This sandal feels wonderful. The only problem is I've been trying to find this sandal in the color "moon rock" in my size with no luck.
