Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
Having just moved from Southern California to Salzburg to study, I was seriously unprepared for the cold, rainy weather here. After almost ruining a pair of shoes in the rain, I decided it was time to find something suited for this weather. Thank God I saw these shoes in the first place I went in! The Gore-tex makes them perfect for rain and snow. The style makes me wear them even when it's sunny outside. The comfort makes sure I never have to worry about my feet when walking around the city. These are my new favorite shoes. My only complaint is that they are a bit narrow in the opening, which means I have to really loosen them to have enough room for my foot to slide in, and I wear a size 7 US, European 37, so it's not like I have a large foot. But as it only adds a minute to the time it takes to put them on, it's hardly a complaint.

Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
I haven't been able to wear these as much as I would have like do to a leg injury. I am happy with durablity, style, they do feel a bit narrow but I feel they will stretch to feel better. I do wish that you offered more widths. Over all I am pleased with this shoe and I am very hard on my shoes as I work on a cattle ranch and I use these for work.

Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
I bought my first pair of Ecco shoes on sale at [@]in San Francisco and was totally hooked from then on. Even though the price range is a bit more than I had been used to paying for shoes, they are worth every dime. Fifteen years ago I had foot surgery and continued to wear shoes that didn't offer the kind of incredible fit and support that Ecco's do. I have seen the light! Plus, the shoes are very attractive and will continue to be flattering through future fashion cycles.

Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
I should never have ordered these to replace my Tracks. These are a hard leather and not comfy.
Odds these will not soften and become comfortable to work in.

Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
My first pair from 2004 wore out. This pair was comfortable from day one. Don't use the topmost eyelets so don't find the boots stiff. Expected the laces would have to be changed (ECCO can't you change this) but with new laces the boots are perfect. Only negative, my old boots have a square toe and make my feet look smaller! (I wear a 41)

Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
I am over 50 and need more comfortable flat shoes now for work and play. I bought direct online knowing and loving previous Ecco's. These are very comfortable, except around the ankle - even with socks/a little extra padding, not as flexible in that area as I'd like but have only been wearing a couple of weeks. They are very warm which I'm attributing to the Goretex. Overall, they're built great and I think I will enjoy more as I break in. Also, might change the laces, the ones they come with have trouble staying tied sometimes because of slick coating.

Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
I've only had my new shoes a few weeks but know I'm going to like them. I did like my old ones better but the soles could not be resurfaced. I'll use my old shoes in the garden.

Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
I have trouble with shoes being comfortable and fitting. I wear custom orthotics and was glad I could remove the cushion from you shoe. I will buy another ecco in the future. Especially interested in the Biom but will look for them to go on sale. I have worn them non stop since I received them! Thank you very much!Sann Huish

Comments about ECCO Clay Bootie:
Wearing these are so great especially in the winter and on rainy days. Because I have narrow feet that stay cold a lot I wear boot socks for additional comfort. I would prefer a different pair of shoelaces because these are hard to tie since I have arthritis in my fingers. Otherwise, I love them.
