As a former Certified Podiatry Nurse and now Senior Citizen with foot issues an important factor is adequate cushioning in the forefoot due to loss of fatty tissue as we age. Aging can also cause atrophy of muscles which causes unstable walking and although the fit is secure, adequate cushioning of the forefoot for walking longer distances such is in a mall on concrete is limiting. Heel cushioning seems to be adequate - just the forefoot is too thin and hard. Otherwise, great shoe with some sense of style for those still interested in looking their best.

A very comfortable shoe for walking. I thought I would need to break them in so I wore it indoors for a day but found that they were instantly comfortable. I plan to take them on a trip abroad for walking and I think they will be perfect. I am a size 5.5 and with thin socks the shoe is slightly loose, with regular socks it is a perfect fit.

I bought them to wear to work to have something nicer than tennis shoes to wear with my jeans. I wish they were a little wider though. I had to go up a size (bummer) to get more width. But they're really cute!!

I love the style of the shoe but it does not have enough support or cushion for me. I am still wearing oxfords I bought 10 years ago from Ecco and I was hoping these would measure up to those.But they are nowhere as comfortable.I am going to have to put another innersole in them. At [$] I thought they would have LOTS of support.They don't, sadly

I love my new Ecco's. I have had them before I just always bought them in a retail store. We moved and now it is easier to buy on line. I would like them in other colors. Do you have any plan to add colors to this line? The arch support was a little behind my own but after wearing them for a week it seems to adjust to my foot. Now they are just PERFECT. Thanks......
