I've worn the shoe on "test walks" getting ready for an NYC trip--I think it's going to be a very good travel shoe. Light but supportive and cushioned. The color--I think listed as ochre was more ORANGE than the 'rust' I expected, but it's cute.

This is a super comfortable shoe! I work in a casual atmosphere where I am sometimes on my feet for long periods of time. The color I purchased (ochre) is quite stylish and have had many complements on them. Just so you know, I'm 70 yrs old and still care about style as well as comfort.

I have these shoes in the Burnt Ochre w/ aqua soles. These are the most comfortable shoes to wear anytime I know I'll be walking around quite a bit (mall, errands, outdoors, etc.) They can comfortably be worn without socks if desired as well. I have gotten multiple compliments a day every time I've worn these shoes. And the soles have stayed bright blue!

I purchased these as shoes to wear while travelling. For me, they are appropriate for wearing during the day for touring and at night for an informal dinner with slacks or jeans.
