Well, first I'm happy that I received the pair in time for an evening event requiring dressy shoes... and since I have my previous pair of ECCOs to compare, I can state even though those shoes cost a bit more and were made in Thailand instead of China, I am satisfied with the quality. Also appreciated is the unique style (at least to myself) of lacing, which albeit is a bit more difficult to tie is still more fashionable.
