Comments about ECCO Mens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
Four years on my first pair, this boot has seen a lot of use, and has a few years left. Climbing Fuji alone can wear down a pair of shoes in one day; only a couple of character scratches from the volcanic scree. Months in the debris fields of the Northeastern Japan disaster, dozens of summits in Northeastern Japan and Hokkaido. Now providing sure traction on the limestone and corral of Okinawa, even during typhoons. Would like to have an excuse to buy another pair, but this one has some years left on it. Ecco is my first choice for shoes, and I am never sorry about the price. While I wear out other "quality" brands in a year, Ecco's fit, protection, comfort, durability, and quality combine to make this the highest value.

Comments about ECCO Mens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
Like the other reviewers, I love how comfortable these were right out of the box. I like a Medium width shoe, but have difficulty with my toes getting pinched. These boots have a square toe which fits me perfectly. Wear these all day on asphalt and concrete, Feet feel great at the end of the day. I normally wear a size 10. Bought these in European size of 44. Fit great with a thick sock. Might be a little loose with a thinner sock, but more than enough room in the laces to sinch them up a bit if that's the sock I'm wearing.

only had them a few weeks...so haven't had time to really go out with them. Prefer eccos cause still have pair of walking shoes that are like 10 years old.....will write another review later if you like....eccos always comfortable....and they stand by the guarantee.

Comments about ECCO Mens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
These boots fit great right out of the box - almost no break-in required. They're replacing some older Gore-tex boots that were falling apart on me. So far they're great - waterproof, great traction in snow and ice, good support, warm with thick wool socks. I got them to use on my scout camping and backpacking trips.

Comments about ECCO Mens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
Tried many different brands and styles that didn't feel quite right for one reason or another. I bought these locally and they fit like a glove out of the box. Bought 1 size larger than my dress shoes for thicker hiking socks. I just finished my 2nd 1/2 day hike with no issues (2 days in a row). A little pricey but worth every cent and your feet will thank you.

Great shoe! I wear them everyday in Minnesota! A nice pair of wool socks to go with them and they're as good as any insulated boot!

Comments about ECCO Mens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
Bought these to wear for everyday casual to work for Fall and Winter. They were comfortable right out of the box. My foot is a medium width, but I have a narrow heel. These fit good with heavy cushion sock that I prefer anyway. They look great and are comfortable all day long. I am also an avid hiker, but would only recommend these for lightweight casual hikes on easy trails.

Comments about ECCO Mens Kolyma II Mid GTX:
I have an extremely hard time finding a shoe that fits. Depending on the brand, I wear anything from a 12 1/2 to a 14. And I have a relatively narrow foot. If you are in this situation, you know that there are no shoes out there that fit you. Not only am I hard to fit, I have several foot problems. I have gout for example. I also lost the bone in my big toe as a youth and it causes many difficulties in fitting a shoe. I was planning an extended trip to Europe and I needed a shoe I could live in for a couple of weeks of touring. This shoe is awesome! It is everything I wanted. I have worn them every single day since I bought them last October (ten months ago). I searched high and low and tried on so many shoes I was sick of it till I found these. I knew immediately they were the ones. The sole is amazing. It is both durable and flexible! That is the combination I have such a hard time finding. I am going back to Europe again this October and I just ordered a new pair to take with me. While the old ones are still amazing, I just wanted something that I hadn't worn every minute for almost a year. When the new ones came I tried them on and they are just as good as the old ones! I have worn these shoes to do everything imaginable. I hike in them, fly in them, every day in them and even wear them to church on Sunday. You will not be disappointed!
