Comments about ECCO Womens La Paz Hi GTX:

I own an earlier model in white - the yak leather is wonderful and super durable, I mostly used these for work daily commutes in the city with terrible winter weather. In NYC the sidewalks would only get shoveled where people would walk leaving huge banks of snow and slowing down traffic flow to single file lines! With these I was able to walk safely all over ice and snow without slipping and bypass everyone. I was looking for a similar shoe but in a darker color to hide dirt/blemishes - this is perfect. I also like the added touch on the toe for protection. I noticed my former model would get scratched up on the toe area and this La Paz with the cap protection is perfect! Form and function in a beautifully designed product. Also - not that it's necessary but Eccos are the only shoe I use for hiking/work boots AND golf - if you're on your feet all day these are the best. They're expensive but last forever. Also the customer service is amazing, I had a golf shoe that had minor peeling off the sole and I sent it back they gave me a $300 gift card to get whatever I wanted. Also when I called the number a real person picked up the phone on the second ring. The investment is well worth it, trust me.
