This shoe is very well constructed. A lot of thought went into the design, and the result is a sleek, comfortable and sturdy shoe. I do quite a bit of walking and standing throughout the day, and the shoe does not lose its shape and supports me throughout the day.
To those neysayers, the shoe, however, does not come off of the shelf in its most perfect state. After about a week of walking in the shoe, it sort of molds to fit your foot, and after that point, it's like walking on clouds.

I wanted a pair of comfortable shoes that look good enough to wear to work with slacks but, not to dressy to wear with jeans. These have the look but, they are not comfortable at all. I have 3 other pairs of Ecco's and love them all. They make some very comfy shoes except for this pair. These by far are the worst ones I own. Probably top five worst shoes ever bought. My feet sweat really bad in them also. I do alot of walking on concrete and at the end of the day, my feet are just killing me.

Wanted a casual, comfortable, durable shoe. Went in looking at Keens and Merrells. Merrells were way too tight as usual, no new Keens that struck me. Put these on and like the last pair of Eccos I bought, they felt perfect from the moment I stood up and walked. A bit pricey, but remarkable shoes. Now, to see how durable they are. My last Eccos are about five years old and show minimal wear.

This is my third pair of Bioms. Really like the golf versions and was looking for a comparable everyday Biom. This shoe is well made but very flat with little heel strike. So, nice shoe but not for me. Sending back and will try the Biom walker.
