need work on sizing
I heard about ECCO and had friends wearing them for years, but their rather clunky style turned me off. Stumbled over some better looking ones on another site and checked their direct site. Wow, ordered a pair and I am hooked! Now have two pair and looking at a third. These are so comfortable, I almost don't want to wear any of my other ones.
Fits very big. I normally wear 9-9.5 (42-42.5) and got these in 41 and they are still a little roomy. Stylish (I've received multiple compliments) and pretty comfortable. Seem to be good quality, though I had to exchange the original pair I bought as one of the shoes squeaked (seemed like a rubbing issue with the tongue). Haven't worn long enough to comment on durability.
First time ECCO wearer
I really liked the style of the shoe . Felt wide , the length was what made me send it back . From the ball of my foot , I thought the toe of boot was almost an inch too long . I got a 42 , maybe a 41 would have been right . My 1st Ecco dress shoe was 8 1/2 several yrs ago . Recent ( 3 yrs back ) Biom sneaker in 42 was a good fit . Yr ago sneaker in Sz 42 , this toe was a bit long , but shoe was just for wear in exercise area at club . This lace up , ankle boot , in 42 feels like at least a 9 1/2 . It looked great and quality looked VG . So with that explanation to a friend , yes I would suggest the shoe .
Sid the sad over this shoe one
BEEN WEARING LOTS OF ECCO GOLF SHOES AND CASUAL SHOES FOR YEARS. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME EVER THE SIZE I ORDERED WAS WRONG...AND THE NEXT SIZE DOWN IS ALMOST TOO BIG..STILL UNDECIDED ON IT. GREAT SHOE BUT SIZING IS HORRIBLE
I've bought Ecco for 25 years for comfort fit quality and style. From recent purchases I feel all the brand is lacking
