Championship-standard spikes and innovative design features make this men's golf shoe an ideal intro shoe for new golfers, thanks to subtle colors and a simple, functional design. The specialist leather uppers are not only supple and lightweight, but incorporate a water-resistant barrier that keeps moisture out.

my golf shoes
I bought these based on the excellent experience I had with 2 pair of Biom I bought a few years back. Those wore out and needed to be replaced. I took a chance on the Base Ones with their less expensive prices (I did sign up for Ecco's Loyalty program - free - so I could return them for free if they didn't fit).
First off, I like the style, nothing flashy or quirky. This model is narrower than the Biom (I have wider feet and the Biom's were wonderful in that regard), but have 2 insoles which allow for more width by removing the top insole. I initially took that layer out but discovered the leather uppers stretched out to fit my foot better even with the top insole in place. I've been wearing them for a month now with both insoles in place and they're very comfortable for me.
I recommend them highly.
Have clubs, will travel!
Like the look, feels good on.

The quality of construction is unsurpassed. You know exactly what you are going to get when you buy Ecco. No other footwear manufacturers even come close.

ecco team stepped up and corrected my issues. Kudos to the person and their team that helped me and fixed the issues.
I always wear 42, first in a while that seemed large.
Love you, ones I own, spikeless golf shoes
Very comfortable and stable.
This is the first pair of Ecco shoes that have given me any trouble. These fit seemingly comfortably and don't hurt while walking 9 or 18. However, even after multiple rounds, with and without the extra insert in place, they rub a spot on the inside of both feet for me between the ankle joint and achilles. Initially, I chalked it up to either them being new or grass/debris getting inside my sock, but the issue persists. If I keep wearing them, I'll have to put a band-aid over the area of my ankle (moleskin doesn't stay in place for 9, much less 18). This could just be an issue with the shape of my feet, but I've never encountered an issue like this with any other shoe. I'd also hoped they would be less prone to heat buildup (slightly breathable) than other shoes, but find they're just as warm as footjoy greenjoys.
I've had several pairs of Ecco shoes in the past and needed some new golf shoes and the price seemed right. Unfortunately, they were too big (probably close to 1 full size, as compared to typical US sizing). The problem is that returning the shoes was totally on me. $20 wasted on USPS return shipping. Ecco should use their volume to negotiate with USPS, or UPS to get a decent return shipping cost. I won't be taking the chance to try on-line shoe roulette again. Sorry
