Could be better

The midsole cleaner works "ok" , but I find using sneaker cleaner works better. I spray some on the brush to keep it from the leather and it cleans the sole well.

Am I Doing Something Wrong?

Bought this product to clean up my yellowing and scuffed white midsoles on my Ecco Jack sneakers to ensure that I don't use a product that breaks down the PU. To my great dismay the product seems to do nothing. Even when using the wire bristled brush with firm pressure and 10 minutes of scrubbing (in a single small area) the yellowing and scuffing aren't even reduced by 10%. Is this a problem with the shoe or the cleaner?
